Our friendly team is here to learn about your child and put your mind at ease. They’ll answer your questions, take your insurance details and schedule an initial assessment.
Based on the assessment, we design a custom therapy plan to address your child’s needs and build foundational skills for their future.
Once the plan has been approved by your insurer, an RBT comes to your home anywhere in Ohio for consistent, focused 1:1 sessions, nurturing your child’s development with warm encouragement.
We celebrate achievements big or small as your child learns to express themselves, do things independently and connect with others.

ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is a scientifically-proven therapy that helps children master essential life skills through positive reinforcement and personalized learning. It focuses on building communication, social skills, and a range of other skills, by breaking down complex behaviors into manageable steps. This way, skills that once seemed out of reach become accessible, and children can gain confidence and independence.
We understand concerns about outdated ABA practices, but modern ABA therapy is very, very different: relationship-based, play-focused, and built on positive reinforcement. At Little Acorn ABA, we use gentle, positive, techniques that make learning feel natural and fun. Our approach is all about nurturing your child’s innate potential, never forcing your child to be something they’re not. We tap into your child’s unique personality and strengths to help them develop skills at their own pace in a supportive, nurturing environment.
Yes, we accept Medicaid and most major insurance plans. We’ll walk you through every step, from verifying your coverage to handling paperwork, so you never feel lost or overwhelmed. If you’re worried about financing therapy, just reach out to our friendly team who will guide you through your options.
Your RBT comes to your home to work with your child in personalized sessions that may look like guided play. The sessions are tailored to your child’s unique needs and goals, with positive reinforcement, evidence-based techniques and play-based activities that make learning fun and engaging. You’re welcome to sit in on sessions and participate, too.
Every child progresses at their own pace, but many families begin to see positive changes within the first few months. We celebrate small victories along the way and continuously adjust our approach based on your child’s development and your family’s goals. Ultimately, our shared goal is your child’s independence so we can fade services gradually.
